Europa League quater-final
On the forth of April Chelsea put one foot in the semi-final of the Europa League with an impressive 3-1 win against Rubin Kazan. To be honest I did not expect Chelsea to win, because it was the third game for them that week. Chelsea showed an excellent piece of playing and most surprisingly Fernando Torres a.k.a. Zorro (the guy was wearing Zorro's mask) scored twice (on 16th and 70th minutes).
The third goal came on the 32nd minute when Rubin's defenders failed to cover Victor Moses who unleashed a shot that went passed Ryzhikov.
Russians managed to score only once on 41st minute when Natcho scored from the penalty spot. Chelsea's goalkeeper Peter Czech did not stand a chance.
Even though Rubin lost on Stamford Bridge, russian team still has a chance to get into semi-finals. They are going to have to win the second game, which will be played on 11th of April in Mosxow on Luzhniki stadium.
