Fabio Capello in the Russian national team

Expectations surrounding the Russia national team have always been high, but with only five and a half years until the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ takes place in the country, they have now risen to a whole new level.

So far the Sbornaja have responded well to the increased pressure, and many are suggesting the nation often referred to as a 'sleeping giant' could be on the verge of great things under the guidance of Fabio Capello.

Russia's 12 points from four Brazil 2014 qualifiers, and goal difference of 8:0, leave no doubts as to the team to beat in European Zone Group F. Azerbaijan (1-0), Israel (4-0) and Northern Ireland (2-0) have all succumbed to the section leaders, whose 1-0 victory over fellow qualification favourites Portugal in October provided their clearest statement of intent yet.
Return to the top ten
The only team along with the Netherlands yet to drop a point in qualifying, Russia have also returned to the top ten of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings on the back of their four straight competitive wins. Having tumbled from sixth place to 12th in October 2009, the Russians subsequently fluctuated between 11th and 25th but have moved up to ninth in the latest standings.

A disappointing 2-2 draw with USA in the November friendlies showed that there is still room for improvement for the side captained by Igor Denisov, but the world's largest country in terms of land mass is certainly on the right track to re-establish itself as a global football power.

The man credited with inspiring Russia's recent revival is Capello. Spirits were low after the national team's disappointing group stage exit at UEFA EURO 2012, but the 66-year-old Italian's authoritarian approach has brought about the desired change in the Sbornaja's fortunes. "He puts a lot of emphasis on discipline," said current international Alexander Samedov of Lokomotiv Moscow. Indeed, several big names have fallen by the wayside, with the likes of Andrei Arshavin, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Yuri Zhirkov all yet to appear in qualifying for Brazil 2014. That Capello is not afraid to make tough decisions when it comes to perceived stars is of course no big secret. With Russia having missed out on the last two FIFA World Cups, the former England coach is determined to do whatever it takes to get his side to South America. "I hope that we're involved in the World Cup in Brazil in two years' time," said Capello recently. "I plan to retire after that, although I may reverse that decision if there's a really interesting offer on the table."

If Capello can secure Russia tickets to the greatest show on earth, the man they call Don Fabio may soon become known as the new tsar of Russia.

Ronaldinhio

He is the second player that I admire he plays for Brazil national team and the way he plays is awesome and out of no where he became a true super star and the reason why I sad that is because he was playing at the time when there were some really big name in Brazil team  such as Ronaldo, Kaka, Roberto Carlos and he used to play with them.

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (born 21 March 1980), commonly known as Ronaldinho (Brazilian Portuguese or Ronaldinho Gaúcho,[2] is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro and for the Brazilian national team as an attacking midfielder or forward. He is a two-time winner of the FIFA World Player of the Year, an award which he received in 2004 and 2005.
"Ronaldinho", the diminutive and term of endearment for "Ronaldo", is accompanied in Brazilian usage by the nickname "Gaúcho", in order to distinguish him from fellow footballer and countryman Ronaldo, who was known as "Ronaldinho" in Brazil beforehand. Ronaldo simply went by his first name upon his move to Europe, thereby allowing Ronaldinho to drop the "Gaúcho" and go by the name Ronaldinho abroad.
Prior to his move to Flamengo, he played for Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona and Milan. With the Spanish club, he won his first Champions League in 2006 and the Ballon d'Or in 2005. He became a Spanish citizen in January 2007.[3] He was also named in the FIFA 100, a list of the greatest footballers compiled by fellow countryman Pelé, and in the FIFPro World XI consecutively from 2004–2007

The player that I like is:
Full name
Zinedine Zidane
Date of birth
23 June 1972 (age 40)
Place of birth
Marsellie, France
Height
1.85 m (6 ft 1 in)
Playing position

Initially I was a great fan or follower I love his attitude his approach towards the game. At international level, Zidane won FIFA World Cup 1998 and Euro 2000 with France. Zidane has won the FIFA World Player of the Year three times, and Ballon D'Or once. He was also chosen as the best player of the year in Ligue 1, in Serie A and in La Liga and was awarded the 2006 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball, and European Championship Player of the tournament during his career. Zidane retired from professional football after the 2006 World Cup. He currently holds the post of Real Madrid Director of Football On 31 July 2012, Real Madrid announced that as soon as he completes management qualification, he will begin training to be a coach while at the same time coaching Real Madrid's youth academy. Initially I was a great fan or follower I love his attitude his approach towards the game.

But when he hit one player during a match with his head that is the point when I stop following him and he also lost all the respect as a player and as a person that I had for him.

Rubin Kazan - Chelsea - Europa League quarter-final

Europa League quarter-final (2nd game)

I was totally devastated by the news that Chelsea kicked Rubin out of Europa League by winning (3-2) the match in Moscow on the 11th of April. The game started really bad for the Russian team, when on the fifth minute Rubin's goalkeeper Sergey Ryzhikov got too far away from his goal and Fernando Torres scored his third goal in two games.
Rubin responded on 51st minute with Ivan Markano's equalizer, but four minutes later Chelsea took the lead once again with Victor Moses goal. Rubin managed to equalize again when Karadeniz scored ob 62nd minute.
Thirteen minutes later Rubin took the lead for the first time in two games thanks to Bibers Natcho goal from the penalty spot. Although Rubin won the second game, the final result did not allow the Russian team to go further in the Europa League tournament. Chelsea will face Bazel from Switzerland, which by the way took down another Russian team Zenit in 1/8.

My personal opinion is that Rubin should have gone further in the League, not because I am Russian so as the team, but because Rubin is a team and Chelsea is just a bunch of good players, whose personal characteristics turned out to be stronger than Rubin's team play.

Chelsea - Rubin Kazan - Europa League quarter-final

Europa League quater-final

On the forth of April Chelsea put one foot in the semi-final of the Europa League with an impressive 3-1 win against Rubin Kazan. To be honest I did not expect Chelsea to win, because it was the third game for them that week. Chelsea showed an excellent piece of playing and most surprisingly Fernando Torres a.k.a. Zorro (the guy was wearing Zorro's mask) scored twice (on 16th and 70th minutes).
The third goal came on the 32nd minute when Rubin's defenders failed to cover Victor Moses who unleashed a shot that went passed Ryzhikov.

Russians managed to score only once on 41st minute when Natcho scored from the penalty spot. Chelsea's goalkeeper Peter Czech did not stand a chance.
Even though Rubin lost on Stamford Bridge, russian team still has a chance to get into semi-finals. They are going to have to win the second game, which will be played on 11th of April in Mosxow on Luzhniki stadium.

Manchester United In 2013 (As a fan)

Now we are at the top of the league and still 10 match to go we lead the table by 12 points. This moment is a tough one as we might loose or we might go all the way. But the revenge from the last season is completed the city won there last game to win the league and sunderland fans celebrated at our home. So this season we won against city and sunderland on their perth.
This is the points table now   League table

This season we signed few good signings couple of young players who showed a great spirit of the football and how its played. De Gea turned out to be a great signing so did Tom Cleverly , kagawa struggled to play this season with all injuries that he had to deal with but phil jones and rafael proved that they are next generation footballers. The most expensive deal RVP was at his best again this season playing R
ooney as Mid fielder and getting Nani and Valencia as the wingers.
